We never expected HTC to announce its One M9 flagship from CES so we were pleasantly surprised to see the new Desire 320 and Desire 826 make an appearance.

The HTC Desire 320, successor to the 310, is coming to the UK with mid-range specs and likely a price to match. Expect a quad-core 1.3GHz processor, 4.5-inch 854 x 480 resolution screen and5-megapixel rear camera, Android 4.4, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of on-board storage (expandable by up to a further 32GB through microSD) and a 2,100mAh battery.

The Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro is an update of the handset launched at IFA 2014 and it comes with a 1.5GHz octa-core chip, 5.3-inch Full HD display, 13-megapixel front and rear cameras and a lovely tri-layer design. But one of it's most exciting features is the Selfie Flash accessory that you can get for it.

It's unlikely the P90 or Vibe X2 Pro will come to the UK or the US, but with a bit of luck, the Selfie Flash might.

LG has chosen to reveal the second generation of it's curved and flexible smartphone at CES 2015. The LG G Flex 2 looks very similar to its predecessor but there's plenty of new tech crammed into this slither of brilliance.

Despite rumours suggesting Samsung would launch the Galaxy S6 at CES 2015, this turned out not to be the case and instead the company unveiled the Galaxy E7 and Galaxy E5, aimed at the younger market.

The two devices feature large display and good selfie cameras, which is what the youth of today is said to be interested in. The Galaxy E7 has a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front snapper, all within a 7.3mm body.
